London, 1725, maker's mark probably that of John Penfold (see Grimwade, no.3674)
Oblong with canted angles, with moulded borders, the sliding top with detachable domed cover and baluster finial, the front engraved with a coat-of-arms, the base engraved with initials 'GM', marked on base, top and cover
