A Cantonese baluster vase, 19th century
painted and gilt to one side with a large moulded shaped panel depicting two boys holding the end of a ribbon tied around the neck of the vase, the rest of the vase decorated with shaped panels of figures at leisure in pavilions on grounds of dense foliage, bats and butterflies -- 23¾in. (60.5cm.) high.
