a fan, the leaf painted in the style of Lancret with figures playing with a caged bird, the verso with a couple dancing to a boy playing the bagpipes, the sticks in pairs of mother of pearl alternating with tortoiseshell pique with gold, the guardsticks also inlaid with coloured marbles - 12in.
