A Chinoiserie fan,
the leaf painted with chinoiserie figures taking tea in a kiosque, with a monkey at their side, the verso with two chinese figures and a dog in a landscape within a garland of flowers heightened in gold, the ivory sticks carved and pierced with fruit and scrolling leaves and lacquered in black, blue, red and gold with flowers - 10.5in. (26cm.) possibly English with French sticks, circa 1740 (one guardstick repaired)
