ELVIS PRESLEY TELEGRAM SENT FROM COLONEL TOM PARKER
1965
A Western Union Telegram sent to Elvis Presley from his manager, Colonel Tom Parker on Father's Day. As with many of the telegram correspondences between the two, this one relies on code names, and Parker addresses Presley here as "Colonel Burroughs, Jr." Reads in part; (sic) "We wish you a happy Fathers Day. Although you are not a father, I know you have a large famity. Best The Colonel." Also present are two envelopes in which the telegram was delivered and a letter of authenticity.
