JEFF BECK HANDWRITTEN LETTER IN FRAMED DISPLAY
1968
A handwritten letter composed in black ballpoint ink on blue paper signed by Jeff Beck to a friend in California in which he writes about the purchase of jeans, a gun, recent music, and the state of England. In part it reads (sic):"I heard the Albert King album good but not too good We shall play the Filmore and Whisky in January, so I can give you your amp then. And the money for the gun. It would be difficult to send it right now as you've heard already our wonderful government has de-valued the L and England's really fucked!!!" The letter was most likely written after November 1967, when the British government devalued the pound as mentioned by Beck. Also present is the framed display featuring the LP cover of The Yardbirds album Greatest Hits, Volume One: 1964-1966 having Beck on the cover.
