CAT STEVENS MUGSHOT AND FINGERPRINT CARD

A fingerprint card for Cat Stevens, who by this time had changed his name to Yusuf Islam as part of his conversion to Islam in 1977. The card is signed by Islam and includes images of all of his fingerprints, as well as a color mug shot of Islam from the front and profile. According to the document, Islam was arrested for assault at New York City's LaGuardia Airport on June 27, 1981; "DEFT DID STRIKE THE C/W CAUSING HIM TO RECEIVE THREE STITCHES TO HIS LIP."
