JOHN LENNON AND YOKO ONO EARLY ORIGINAL ART PIECES
1968 and 1971
Two John Lennon and Yoko Ono art pieces, constructed of plexiglass with embossed titles. One titled, "The Danger Box-Open At Own Risk Yoko Ono 1968" is comprised of three small plexiglass pieces which nest and snap together, featuring a black plastic square reading "Build Around It John Lennon /1968" having a large hole at its center. The other, titled "A Box of Smile Y.O. '71" is an elegant hand-finished black plexiglass box which features a small mirror mounted inside and includes a printed image of John and Yoko with a caption reading "A Box of Smile."
