Each baluster, on a shaped circular base, chased with scrolling flowers and foliage, with an everted and scalloped rim, the base engraved Billings, marked under base, and stamped NQY

Lot Essay

The Martelé records indicate this pair of special order vases were made by silversmith Henry H. Barker in 24 hours and chased by Karl Wendt in 22 hours and cost $60 each.
