Strix Nyctea
engraving with etching, aquatint and hand-coloring, 1831, on J Whatman watermark 1831, with full margins, occasional pale foxing, stray printing ink and traces of surface soiling in the margins and on the reverse, pale staining at the lower left margin corner, very pale time staining, a 3/8-in. tear at the center left margin edge, a few short tears and very small nicks in places at the margin edges, soft creasing and slight thinning at the margin corners, otherwise in very good condition
