A SILVER FOUNTAIN DESIGNED BY EINAR UTZON-FRANK
Einar Utzon-Frank (1888-1955) was a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1918 to 1955 and was a highly regarded Danish sculptor. He is known for his form-conscious and stylized figures and was inspired by archaic Greek sculpture. His most well-known silver design is lot 361, a fountain depicting a female figure. This fountain is particularly important because there are very few pieces of Jensen silver with figural decoration.
