Vivianna Torun Bulow-Hube (b. 1927) studied silversmithing at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design and at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. In 1951 she became the first woman silversmith in Sweden to establish her own studio. In 1956 she moved to Paris, and two years later, while walking on the beach, she met Pablo Picasso who arranged a solo exhibition of her work in Antibes in 1958. In 1967, Bulow-Hube began designing jewelry, watches, and some hollowware for Georg Jensen.
