THE DERBY PLATE CIRCA 1790, THE REMAINING PIECES EARLY 19TH CENTURY, THE DERBY PLATE WITH PURPLE CROWNED MARK
The first painted with loose sprays of flowers beneath gilt rim; the Derby plate painted to the centre with a small tiny spray of cornflowers, flanked by three larger sprays of flowers within shaped gilt-edged rim; the Coalport plate painted to the border with six sprays of flowers between sections moulded with scrolling foliage and flowers, gilt rim; and a teacup and saucer painted with a landscape within an oval panel within a border of gilt ornament, the saucer painted with a ruin within a similar border (6)
