The underside of the bowl with a turquoise ground, the interior painted after Watteau with an amourous couple within an oval Gitterwerk border, a channelled gilt line border edging the stem and widening at the handle to enclose a small vignette of a girl in a landscape, the underside with a similar border enclosing a loose bouquet on the handle and the factory mark on the bowl (areas of minute flaking to gilding)
