A NIDERVILLER FIGURE OF A LEMON-SELLER
CIRCA 1760
Modelled with her head turned to the left, holding a rectangular wicker tray with lemons from a black strap over her shoulder, wearing a white bonnet, puce striped overskirt and striped blue skirt, her green chequered bodice with a gilt scroll front, standing by a rock on a grassy and rocky mound base (tray broken in half and restuck, small section of strap lacking, minute restoration to her left thumb and first finger, re-touching to flaking of black enamel of strap at back)
