decorated in gold and part red lacquer in hiramakie, takamakie and nashiji with a continuous scene of retreats in a mountainous, pine-strewn river landscape, attached ojime bead and ivory netsuke of a seated karashishi, signed -- the inro 2½in. (6.4cms) long.
