A Napoleon III ormolu-mounted marquetry centre-table
Possibly by Jules Allard et Fils, Third quarter 19th Century
The serpentine top centred by a flowering bouquet, flanked to the sides by further panels of flowers with strapwork cartouches, the angles inlaid with trellis panels, the front with a frieze drawer, on cabriole legs each headed by a female caryatid and joined by a shaped stretcher centred by an urn, terminating in pierced acanthus-cast feet
29¾ in. (75.5 cm.) high; 52¾ in. (134 cm.) wide; 35¾ in. (91 cm.) deep
