Modelled as a portico with floral-festooned fluted Corinthian columns, surmounted by flower-filled urns and with a pair of flaming atheniennes to the back below, the clock with cylindrical case surmounted by a seated figure of Cupid and flanked by a pair of maidens, the twin-train movement and dial signed Planchon/A Paris, on stepped base applied to the front with acanthus, on circular flat feet
