in a striped waistcoat and brown coat; landscape background
on ivorine, with added signature Colling, gilt-metal filigree frame
oval, 3¼ in. (82 mm.) high; a young lady called Duchesse de Gramont, in white dress with breast bared (after Dumont); a young noble lady; and Mrs. Gale of Bardsea Hall, in profile to left
the latter inscribed and with date 1789, gilt-metal frames
