and a pierced domed cover with coiled dragon and cloud finial above further similar panels, the censer applied with gilt bronze handles modelled as coiled guei dragons with bifurcated tails, set on a French gilt bronze base modelled as three standing caparisoned elephants, the body decorated with bats surrounding stylised lotus between bands of taotie within ruyi head and lappet borders -- 19in. (48.3cm) high overall, wood stand, Qianlong.
