A Korean black lacquer rectangular cabinet
in three sections on a similar shaped stand, with bronze handles and hinged mounts modelled as butterflies, inlaid in mother of pearl with panels of cranes, deer, tortoise and other birds among peonies, prunus, pine and bamboo issuing from rockwork, the sides with fish below further flowers, all within geometric borders -- 66¼in. (168.3cm) high, (minor pieces of inlay missing, old wear).
