The gilt chain fusee movement with engraved cock and foot, two armed bimetallic balance with timing weights to the end of the arms, jewelled to the third in screwed chatons, diamond endstone, blued steel helical spiral and Earnshaw's spring detent escapement, the cream enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic five-minute divisions, large subsidiary seconds, blued steel hands, in (later) silver consular case
