The foliate engraved frame with going barrel and anchor escapement, silk-suspended pendulum with rating nut to the top, foliate engraved pendulum bob, the alarm train housed at the base of the movement with clapper strike on a bell in the base, the white enamel Roman dial with blued steel hands, subsidiary white enamel dials below for calendar and alarm (cracked), oval ebonised wood base; associated glass dome
