painted in coloured enamels and gilt with a central shaped panel of peonies and bamboo within a border of panels of gamboling shishi lions and ho-o among further peonies and prunus, all on a scattered chrysanthemum ground -- 20¾in. (52.8cm.) diam., circa 1700, (minor crackles).
