A MID-VICTORIAN IVORY THERMOMETER AND A PAIR OF MINIATURE BELLOWS
THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY
Of columnar form with associated removable acorn finial, with scales in Fahrenheit and Réaumur, with pierced gallery at the base; the bellows painted on one side with a cottage in a landscape, 19th century; and a Louis-Philippe penwork tole watch-cabinet, mid-19th century, with stepped hinged lid and central oculus above a landscape, the cabinet enclosing a silver-plate cased pocket watch, the case marked four times 'A:B' and inscribed twice 'G.K.'
The thermometer: 6 in. (15.5 cm.) high
The bellows: 10 in. (25.5 cm.) long
The watch-cabinet: 8¼ in. (21 cm.) high; 5 in. (12.5 cm.) wide (3)
