GOVERNOR SIR RALPH DARLING (1775-1858)
A land grant, signed, dated 19th October 1831, to John Piper of Bathurst of "one hundred acres of land more or less, situated in the County of Cumberland, Parish of Claremont" witnessed by H. Dumaresq and C.H. Darling, entered by Alexander Macleay as Colonial Secretary and later signed by Governor George Gipps and Sir Edward Deas Thomson, manuscript and printed on vellum, 36 x 42cm.
