FISHER, Richard and R.C. -- Catalogue of the Valuable...Library consisting chiefly of early and extremely rare Italian, German and French woodcut books...and a few fine bindings. London: Sotheby's, 21 May 1906.

4o. 6 fine plates in gold and color of sixteenth and seventeenth century bindings. Contemporary red morocco gilt, t.e.g. (small nick at head of spine). Provenance: Richard Fisher's copy (inscribed in pencil on the front flyleaf: "Bound & given to me by my brother in law T. Cobden-Sanderson").

The catalogue of the extraordinary collection of early illustrated books formed by Richard and Richard C. Fisher, father and son (the latter brother-in-law of T.C. Cobden-Sanderson), the sale of which never took place, as it was acquired en bloc by C.W. Dyson Perrins; some of his finest books came from this source.
