Crozet, 22 February 1840. -- Autographes et Manuscrits de M. G. De Pixerécourt. Paris: Printed by P. Trenel, 4 November 1840.

Two parts in one volume, 8o (216 x 137 mm). With the author's bookplate engraved in copper and reproduced on both title-pages. Modern red half morocco in style by Devauchelle.

PRICED THROUGHOUT in red, together with the printed price list for the book sale, as well as the printed supplement of "articles omis." According to an inscription these omitted items did not belong to Pixerécourt and were fraudulently added to the sale in order to benefit from the great collector's name. He also noted that the manuscript sale was postponed to 4 May 1841. Lot 1910 features a vast lot on the French Revolution, grouped in 150 portfolios and described in detail with a separate title page in printed in red.
