3 volumes, 8o (160 x 102 mm). (Title-page of volume I repaired at inner margin, title-page of volume II laid-down, some occasional light spotting.) Contemporary glazed orange boards, edges stained yellow (spines lightly faded, corners bumped, sticker on spine of volume I).

Sale catalogue of the remarkable library formed by Panzer, chief parson of St. Sebald, Nuremberg, and bibliographer. The library, which included books printed before 1520, works on theology and church history, writings by Martin Luther, and bibliographies, contained about 12,000 titles, each volume of which is given a separate lot number in the sale, including those volumes within sets.
