From catalogue 100 onwards, Bernard Breslauer had his own copies of his spendidly produced small-folio catalogues specially bound by the leading French and Belgian artists and craftsmen. In his will, he bequeathed to the German State Library in Berlin not only his archives, but also his own finely bound copies of the following Martin Breslauer Inc. catalogues:

Catalogue 100, London [1966], portrait binding by Thérèse Moncey (1971), the covers incorporating a silhouette of the bookseller. BBB Wittockiana 66.

Catalogue 101, London [1969], calligraphic arabesque binding by Paul Bonet (1970), the first bookseller's catalogue bound by this outstanding artist. BBB Wittockiana 65.

Catalogue 102, London [1972], mosaic binding by Germaine de Coster & Hélène Dumas (1974), the covers incorporating the initials MB and BHB. BBB Wittockiana 68.

Catalogue 104, parts I and II, New York [1979-81], enamelled knotwork binding by Brother Edgar Claes OSC (Diest 1986). BBB Wittockiana 74.

Catalogues 105 and 107 (Italy parts I and II), New York [1981-82], flexible binding of boxwood slats with unbreakable spine, invented by Jean de Gonet (1984). BBB Wittockiana 72.

Catalogue 106, New York [1982], flexible polished calf binding with ebony strips flanking the spine by Jean de Gonet (1983). BBB Wittockiana 71: "Not since Pierre Legrain, three-quarters of a century ago, has artistic bookbinding undergone so great a change as in the hands of Jean de Gonet."
