Intended as the first in a series of five works reprinting all the best books on landscape gardening, Loudon collected here Repton's 5 major works on the subject: Sketches and Hints on Landscape Gardening, Observations on the Theory and Practice of Landscape Gardening, An Inquiry into the Changes of Taste in Landscape Gardening, Designs for the Pavilion at Brigton and Fragments on the Theory and Practice of Landscape Gardening.
