A Small Oval Shibuichi Tsuba
Edo period (19th century), signed Hamano Noriyuki
Finished in shibuichi nanakoji and decorated in gold, silver and shakudo in high relief with the legend of Shokujo, the weaver, beside a standing screen and a loom waits on one side of the River of Heaven for her lover, the oxherd, who stands with his ox, the reverse decorated with the bridge which is used for their annual reunion called Tanabata Festival
