The first decorated with inlaid mother-of-pearl and colored shell with a sea bream and various sea shells, the surrounding seaweed rendered in gold and silver takamaki-e; interior nashiji; fitted with an aventurine bead ojime and an ivory netsuke carved as a Ebisu carrying a large fish, the eyes inlaid in dark horn; the second, gold takamaki-e and hirame with geese flying before a silver-inlaid full moon on a black-lacquer ground, interior nashiji; the third, lacquered with a roiro-nuri ground and decorated with a bridge, rock basket and plovers in mother-of-pearl, gold takamaki-e and simulated pewter; fitted with a soft-metal faceted ojime and a box netsuke lacquered with birds and flowers in gold with a soft-metal ring
