Lot Essay

Eboshiori revolves around the intrigue in a shop for court caps (eboshi) and the machinations of warring factions of medieval Japan. In the denouement the disguised Minamoto no Yoshitsune, his hair cut to blend in with commoners, defeats Kumasaka, a burglar on the run.
