The cup with purple-ground body decorated with two quatrefoil cartouches depicting finely painted landscapes with wayfarers, the inside with another cartouche, with loop handle and the associated gilt saucer finely painted in the manner of C.F. Herold, with a quatrefoil cartouche depicting a trade scene or Kauffahrteiszene within elaborate purple and iron-red scrollwork, the border with intricate pendentifs, the reverse with Indianischen Blumen (2)
