Couleur rubis clair et brillant, ce Charmes-Chambertin déploie des arômes discrets tout d'abord, qui en se développant, s'avèrent spectaculaires : ceux de fraise des bois et de cerise se mèlent aux notes de sous-bois et de cuir. En bouche, il révèle sa nature complète et douce, au fruit riche et vibrant. Ce vin plein de vie a encore quelques belles années devant lui. Il représente le cadeau idéal pour célébrer un soixantième anniversaire en 2005
Brilliant, clear ruby, with aromas which were initially discreet, then developed spectacularly. Wild strawberry and cherry notes mingled with those of undergrowth and leather. The palate was full and soft, with vibrant, rich fruit. Amazingly, this still has plenty of life ahead of it, and is a perfect present for 60-year-olds, in 2005. AH
