With short pointed horns, wavy beard and long crinkled moustache, his hair in tight curls across the forehead; a similar terracotta applique of Seilenos, with large pointed ears and striated hair, traces of red pigment, circa early 5th Century B.C.; and a Roman bronze applique with the head of Acheloos, with rectangular openwork frame, with long pointed beard, and the short horns of a bull, 2nd-3rd Century A.D., all mounted
