1ST INTERMEDIATE PERIOD/EARLY MIDDLE KINGDOM, CIRCA 2134-1991 B.C.
Depicting a female relative, possibly his wife, Seneb, offering liquid refreshment over an offering stand, with table of bread, oxen and other gifts, before the deceased, who stands smelling a lotus in his left hand and holding a bird in his right hand, a three line invocation above reading: "A htp-di-nsw ('boon which the king gives') and Anubis in his mountain and lord of the necropolis that he might give offerings of bread, beer, fowl and oxen and every good and pure thing on which a god lives for the ka of the citizen (ankh-en-niwt) Iy 'true of voice' (engendered) by Qery"
