The LMS (ex Furness Railway) 4-4-0 locomotive and tender No. 10133,
scratch built by P. Everton with dummy crossheads and guides and external details including brake and sanding gear, riveting, scale cab and backhead fittings, steps, hand and lamp irons and lamp. Tender details include fine rivet details, springs and hangers, tool boxes, vacuum cylinder, watercock, steps, hand and lamp irons. Finished in fully lined LMS pre-1928 livery by L. Goddard -- 9 x 35.5cm. (3½ x 14in.)

Lot Essay

This model represents one of four Sharp Stewart design 4-4-0s purchased by the Furness Railway in the late 1890s. Known affectionally as 'Seagulls', the engines survived to LMS days.
