An exhibition standard 7mm finescale 2-rail electric model of the Great Central Railway Robinson 4-4-2 Atlantic locomotive and tender No.263, one of the first batch of six built by Beyer Peacock & Company, Manchester 1904,
modelled by J. Brierley, Lancing, complete with external details including fluted connecting and coupling rods, detailed crossheads, draincocks and pipework, brake gear, displacement lubricators, lubricator boxes, correct trailing axle boxes and springing, firebox mud doors and washout plugs, scale cab and blackhead fittings, riveting, steps, hand and lamp irons. Tender details include brake gear, watercock, tank lifting eyes, tool boxes, firing irons, bucket, steps, hand and lamp irons. Finished in GCR livery and lining with hand-painted crests and etched number plates. Fitted 12 volt motor. Display track and glazed case -- 8.5 x 42.5cm. (3 3/8 x 16¾in.)
