MARK OF OMAR RAMSDEN, LONDON, 1931
Of circular section with a flaring rim, the body applied with a series of cast fauns and dryads, each supported on a tapering scroll plinth, raised on a pedestal foot with rose motifs, with an engraved presentation inscription, with a hammered finish, marked under foot, the base also engraved 'OMAR RAMSDEN ME FECIT MCMXXXI'
9 3/8 in. (23.7 cm.) diameter
65.5 oz. (2,035 gr.)
The inscription reads: 'I WAS WROUGHT BY COMMAND OF WALDO W. SKINNER FOR LOULOU F. SKINNER, HIS WIFE, TO MARK THE FEAST OF NOEL, IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD. MCMXXXI'
