Lot Essay

On one of their journeys from London to Doncaster during 1963, The Beatles stopped off for a meal at the George Hotel, Stamford which soon became an impromptu signing session. The vendor's mother is pictured waiting for her autograph in the photograph featured in the Rutland & Stamford Mercury.
