A blue and white saucer, tea-caddy and bowl
Late 17th - 19th Century
The saucer dish moulded to the centre with two ladies standing in a fenced garden, the moulded sides with radiating flower stems, Chenghua six character mark, Kangxi, 21.2 cm. diam.; a rectangular tea-caddy and cover, painted to the main sides with quatrefoil panels of figures in a river landscape, 14.5 cm. high, small chips and frittings; and a Japanese Arita blue and white bowl painted to the inner roundel with Shoulao riding on the back of a crane, the exterior with stylised characters between figure panels below a copper mounted rim, 20.8 cm. diam.
