With full plate gilt-finished two train verge movement, chain fusée, pinned musical drum playing three different tunes (Cotillion, Lovely Nancy and Minuet) with six hammers onto five inverted nesting bells, the white enamel dial eccentric hour dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic five minute divisions, sweep centre seconds, two subsidiary dials indicating phases and ages of the moon and the choice of music, in large circular case with finely pierced and engraved scroll decorated band and centred by a sprig of flowers, outer case missing, music start/stop and balance start/stop levers in the band, dial and movement signed
