The gilt-finished cylinder movement wound by pulling out the pendant shaft, the engine-turned gilt dial with Roman numerals on blank chapter ring, blued steel moon-style hands, outer chased and engraved foliage decoration in high relief, in engine-turned circular case with snap on back, case numbered and stamped with casemaker's initials FD and London datemark for 1866, dial signed, movement signed and numbered
