Cal. 12'''120 nickel-finished lever movement, 18 jewels, the silvered matt dial with applied gold Arabic and dot numerals, gold feuille hands, windows for day and month, subsidiary dial indicating date combined with constant seconds and phases of the moon, in circular case with downturned lugs, snap on back, together with an 18K gold Patek Philippe buckle, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1948 and its subsequent sale on 2 June 1950.

The manufacture of reference 1526 was launched in 1941 and according to literature, only 210 examples were made, the majority in yellow gold.
