Eleven variantly painted with a fairy in a wooded or meadow landscape vignette, the twelfth similar, painted with a girl emblematic of Winter, each with a lobed border of strapwork and grotteschi reserved and painted on a blue ground

Lot Essay

The decorating workshop of Franz Xavier Thallmaier produced fine quality painting on blanks from a variety of porcelain manufacturers including Hutschenreuther and Berlin (K.P.M.).
