The clockcase of arched rectangular form, surmounted by a vase and cover, flanked by upright bracket handles with female mask terminals, the circular 'jewelled' and enamelled dial painted with a putto in flight, above a central panel of Cupid and a recumbent maiden, flanked by 'jewelled' panels surmounted by two portrait roundels of court beauties, the sides with river landscapes, below large acanthus-cast scroll brackets, above a beaded edge the lower portion with an acanthus-cast mount; the seven-light candelabra modelled with 'jewelled' nozzles and drip-pans issuing from scrolling branches, each oviform body painted with a maiden and two putti below a floral garland and white 'jewelled' cartouche, the reverse with ribbon-tied attributes on a bed of flowers and fruit, flanked by two youths issued from scroll acanthus supports, on arched rectangular bases
