Slightly tapering cylindrical and with reeded angular handle with ivory insulators and hinged flat cover, the rim with foliate border, the side engraved with a lozenge-of-arms, marked on base

The lozenge-of-arms is the Royal Arms of Savoia impaling the Royal Arms of Savoia within a bordure for Margherita di Savoia, Queen of Italy (1851-1926), daughter of Ferdinando di Savoia, Duke of Genoa (1822-1855), and widow of Umberto I, King of Italy (1844-1900)
