(6¾ x 3¾in; 172 x 97mm), double column in English and Latin, woodcut illustrations throughout, a few crudely hand-coloured (soiled, severe tears and crude repairs to B1-3 with some loss, margins generally frayed with frequent short tears), 19th-century half calf. Provenance: Thomas Bunn, Feb 25 1778 -- J. Bowring, 1802 (ownership signatures on front blank). The boy "striking a ball" in the woodcut on p. 175 may represent early cricket.
